Who I am…

Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.

-Ecclesiastes 3:11

I’m a 25 year old God lover. A Photographer. A writer. An artist. A reader. Music lover. Interior Designer. My hair is straight, but I usually wear it curled. I wear winged eyeliner and have eclectic taste in clothes and music. I wear dangly earrings. I am generally quiet in nature, but always have a full heart. That time just as the sun is setting is my favorite moment of the day. I adore sun-flare/lens flare. The longer I am a photographer the more straight out of the camera, unedited photos delight me. I love traveling, airports, the packing, the new smells and sights. I look at everything as though glimpsing it through the lens of my camera.

I attempt to catch the little moments; the candid seconds, that “look” in someone’s eye, as they forget the camera lens is on them. I look to capture life and love in a way that will be with the subject for the rest of their lives.
I work with available light, preferably, the natural kind. I rarely use flash, and aim to be as low-profile as possible, a quiet observer who is privileged to be part of your moment, day or event.

I am blessed to do what I love and am passionate about.  I am unworthy of the beauty of God, but He still lavishes it upon me.
